Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WhaleTime ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The Service

WhaleTime lets you track movies and TV episodes you watch or plan to watch, and discuss them with other users through comments. Movie and TV metadata is provided by TMDB; WhaleTime is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use WhaleTime. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

User Content & Conduct

You keep ownership of the comments, replies, and photos you post ("User Content"), but you grant us a license to store and display it within the App so other users can see it. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harassing, hateful, or threatening.
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
• Is spam, or impersonates another person.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms. Other users can report comments; reported content may be reviewed and hidden or removed.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and branding are owned by WhaleTime and may not be copied or reused without permission. Movie and TV metadata is provided by TMDB and remains the property of its respective owners.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimer & Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
